Grain by grain the sands pour
Growing less and never more
Falling in the hour glass
As more time continues to pass
We’re moving closer to our grave
With nothing but the memories we save
All our victories crumpled away
As time passes day by day
We are all walking on the sand
Stretching our time as far as it can
Trapped in the hour glass
Praying that our time will last
We never truly know which second is our last
So take every risk and hurry fast
We don’t know if tomorrow is meant for you and me
Or if another sunrise we shall see
So start living today
Because we was never meant to stay
Our days in this world has a fixed number
So don’t waste it while you slumber
Try to hasten fast
And accomplish your task
For tomorrow may not come
Start today and at least do some
So rush before the last sands fall
Before the final call
Don’t wait until it’s time to go
To then wish better seeds you had sow
Go out now and do your best
For when the sands run out then you could rest
